About Laelaps Sport Dogs
Laelaps Sport Dogs was founded by Christine Stapleton, a dedicated dog sport enthusiast with a deep passion for the working dog community. Christine has been actively involved in a variety of dog sports for the past several years, with a primary focus on scent work and enrichment-based activities that strengthen the bond between dog and handler.
The inspiration behind Laelaps Sport Dogs comes from Christine’s own dogs—O’Malley, a retired racing Greyhound; Jack, a spirited Whippet; and Eris, a driven Belgian Shepherd mix—each of whom brings a unique perspective to training, competition, and product development.
What began as a small creative outlet making durable, functional Biothane collars and leashes has grown into something much more. Laelaps Sport Dogs now designs and produces innovative 3D-modeled tools for scent work and other dog sports, created by someone who actively trains, competes, and understands the real needs of handlers and trainers.
Christine strongly believes in supporting the dog show and sport community and is excited to provide thoughtfully designed equipment that enhances training, trialing, and everyday work with our dogs. Every product is created with functionality, durability, and the working dog in mind—because these tools are built by someone who uses them too.
